Mockumentaries are documentaries where the world and characters presented are exaggerated versions of reality. Improv and mockumentaries have a long and storied history together. In fact, a free-wheeling improvisational style fits the tone of the form perfectly. Over the years, such improv luminaries as Christopher Guest, Eugene Levy, Amy Poehler and Steve Carell have all used their training to hilarious effect in mockumentary films and TV shows.
 
"Mind Meld" by Improtheater Karlsruhe (20:30 - 21:15)
 
This show is about being a true ensemble, a show about movement, music, poetic pictures and positivity. We want to bring joy to the audience, as well as to each other on stage and we hope that all of our minds feel connected for this show.
 
"Opening Show" (21:45 - 22:45)
 
This is the first and only time where the whole festival ensemble of the Improfestival Karlsruhe 2024 will be together on stage. The exact concept? Won't be revealed until the moment we all step on stage.
