THIS IS A 2-DAY-WORKSHOP ON WEDNESDAY&THURSDAY

Wednesday, 7th of September 10:00 - 17:00 (with Gael Doorneweerd-Perry)

Thursday, 8th of September 10:00 - 17:00 (with Beata Rózalska)

What does Reduced mean? It is for students, retired, unemployed people and everybody with little money or income, no questions asked.

When you hear science fiction, do you think about space ships, laser guns and far off planets? Of course, sci-fi can be some of that, but it can also be an amazing experiment about the future of society, taking an alien setup to explore the humanity inside each one of us, and what matters to keep it alive.

In this intensive workshop taught by Beata and Gael, you will explore different aspects of science fiction and the depth brought by creating these stories. You will learn how to build a believable world in settings of your choice, and giving it consistency and intrinsic realism. You will create believable characters in their detailed worlds and exciting stories based on science fiction rules. You will work on packing your stories with relationships and emotions, but also with action, adventure and a physicality that matters for your stories.

Everyday we understand that the future is now. The future is mysterious, but what we know for sure is that the world is changing and it’s going to surprise us. Let’s create together our own fantastic worlds, light or dark, optimistic or dystopic, in which what always matters is what’s inside your heart!
